Planning your arrival on campus involves many important decisions. Careful consideration should be given to insurance coverage for your personal belongings as well as items you may need to borrow while on campus.  The College assumes no responsibility for your personal property.

• Do you have coverage for your laptop, tablet or mobile device?
• If you will be studying abroad do you have coverage to protect your belongings if they are damaged or stolen?
• Do you have insurance that provides coverage for accidental damage? 
• Your parent's homeowners insurance may or may not cover your belongings, and how large is their deductible? 

Personal property insurance is being offered to you with low deductibles and minimal cost.  This insurance can cover your belongings if they are accidentally damaged, stolen, vandalized or suffer damage from water, fire, smoke, etc.  We strongly encourage all students to purchase this insurance, unfortunate situations can and do happen.
