Israeli & Palestinian Activists to Visit Ithaca Sept. 17thContributed by Austin Reid on 09/06/19 Nizar Farsakh, Chair of the Board of the Museum of the Palestinian People and Ori Nir from American For Peace Now will be visiting Ithaca College to share their understanding of the origins and current state of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict through a shared conversation on Tuesday, September 17th from 7 to 9 PM in Emerson Suites. This visit is sponsored by Hillel at Ithaca College, the Office of Religious and Spiritual Life, and the Ithaca College Politics Department and is called Side by Side. Nizar and Ori will share their personal family histories, understanding of Israeli and Palestinian national history, and discuss paths towards peace. The title of this program takes it name from how Nizar and Ori will be in dialogue. Each sharing their stories and discussing how they differ side by side.
