Congratulations to Ian Moore, M.S., who has been promoted to Manager of Student Accessibility Services. He is taking over the role previously held by KellyAnn Robinson, who has accepted a position at Harvard. We wish KellyAnn all the best in her new position.
Ian began his work at Ithaca College last fall, when he became the Assistant Manager of SAS. He came to Ithaca College from George Mason University in Virginia, where he worked to expand the AIM-VA project, a grant funded program providing accessible material to students. Ian earned his BA at the University at Buffalo, and his M.S. in Special Education at Nazareth College in Rochester. Ian is a disability advocate, and has not only conducted both large group and 1:1 instruction for students with Autism and ADHD, but also has researched and presented on key topics germane to higher education, including the ADA and Section 504.
Over the past year, Ian has played an intricate role in improving all aspects of Ithaca College’s SAS Office. This has included moving the office to a digital record keeping system, updating the testing and faculty notification process, and furthering the use of adaptive technology. Please join us in congratulating Ian Moore on his promotion to SAS Manager! |
