Catherine Taylor and Nicholas Muellner, Co-Directors of the Image Text Ithaca Press and MFA Program, were featured in an article at Aperture, the leading international photography organization, which reports that, "Image Text Ithaca is leading the way in experimental and hybrid image-text photobooks."

Aperture calls ITI Press the "Publisher at the Forefront of Photographic Literature" and says that the press is "bringing publications to the photobook community that are urgent and new." The article also notes that Image Text Ithaca "not only sets a particular and focused agenda for the bookmaking scene, but also uses its resources to create an engaged community around its practice."
