Become a trained facilitator in bystander intervention!Contributed by Samantha Elebiary on 10/08/19 Bringing in the Bystander (BITB) teaches bystanders how to safely intervene in situations there may be a risk of sexual or relationship violence. Become a trained facilitator of BITB to help educate students on active bystander techniques. The Ithaca College Sexual Violence Prevention Committee is training students to become facilitators of the Bringing in the Bystander program. Bringing in the Bystander (BITB) teaches bystanders how to safely intervene in situations where an incident may be occurring or where there may be a risk of sexual or relationship violence. This program uses a community of responsibility approach through a well-researched and tailored training program. Let’s work together to prevent sexual and relationship violence at Ithaca College!
