According to ASHA, "The Meritorious Poster Submission recognition is for proposals judged by the Convention Program Committee to show extraordinary, exceptional, and innovative work." From a total of 1874 submissions, "only 62 were selected for meritorious recognition." |

Dr. Luanne Andersson and Grace Hammond, Jessica Takatch, Kathleen Greenan, Connor Donnelly, and Charlene Kush (class of 2019 graduate students) in the Department of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (SLPA) received a “Meritorious Poster Submission” designation for their upcoming poster presentation, “Diagnostic Accuracy of Tests of Children’s Language, Speech Sound Development, & Phonological Awareness,” at the 2019 American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Convention in Orlando, FL.
