Fictocriticism, a post-modern methodology employed in critical analysis and creativity, argues for unorthodox parodic collaborations as a means to create and value literature. In this dissertation, the candidate proposes that by imaging fictocriticism, the writer will live the earlier work and thus be inspired as she creates an original comedy. The writer enters a domain of the arts where critical judgment arises from inspiration, not evaluation. It is experiential, not experimental. This dissertation claims that fictocriticism is a vibrant template for igniting the comedic imagination.
