The application window for the 2020-21 cohort of President’s Fellows is now open! Six people—two faculty, two staff, and two students—will be selected for this program, which is designed to take participants out of their regular work or academic environments to develop their leadership skills and pursue an area of interest within a cohort-based context. Applications will be taken online. Deadline to apply is Friday, November 22. The fellowships provide a unique, immersive, and intensive opportunity to build skills and stretch existing capabilities in new directions. Fellowships encourage all faculty, staff, and students—no matter where they are in their Ithaca College experience—to pursue an existing dream project or devise a new idea within an area of interest. If you’re having trouble conceptualizing what your fellowship may look like or need guidance in developing an idea, please reach out to the Office of the President at 274-3111 or president@ithaca.edu. This program is for everyone. The President’s Fellows Program was started by President Shirley M. Collado in 2017, the first year of her presidency. It is funded by the President’s Discretionary Fund for Education. This will be the third cohort. |
