This year, new hire sessions will continue to be held every other Monday morning October 28 through November 11 (coinciding with the beginning of bi-weekly pay periods).  We will not be holding a session on Monday, November 25, as that is the week of Thanksgiving.  Instead, we will hold a session Monday, December 2, which will be the last session for the year.

In the past, the College has not held new hire sessions during the month of December as it is not cost effective for the College to compensate new employees holiday pay after working such a short period of time before the holidays occur. In addition, many current employees supplement holiday leave with vacation and/or personal leave during this time of year reducing the opportunity for potential training time within departments for new employees.

New hire sessions will resume Monday, January 6, 2020.
