The Sacred and the Strange: A Very Queer SpiritualityContributed by Hierald Osorto on 10/24/19 Join us next week for a series of conversations titled “The Sacred and the Strange: A Very Queer Spirituality” with the Rev. M Barclay on October 27-28, 2019. The Rev. M Barclay (they/them) is an ordained deacon in The United Methodist Church and the director of enfleshed - a nonprofit committed to creating and facilitating spiritual resources on the intersections of spiritual nourishment and collective liberation. On Sunday, October 27, the Rev. M Barclay will serve the guest preacher at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in downtown Ithaca. Services begin at 10:30 AM. In the afternoon from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM, St. Paul’s will be hosting a community conversation led by the Rev. M Barclay who will share how they came to recognize the Sacredness of strange in queer lives and loves and why the strange in all of us is needed in the world today. On Monday, October 28, the Rev. M Barclay continue their conversations on campus with two additional opportunities: 12:15 PM – 1:00 PM
