Can you baby drive a robot?

Contributed by Carole W. Dennis on 10/29/19

We're looking for children between 12 and 24 months old to help us learn about when children can begin using a joystick to drive a robot. Can you help?

We're conducting a study to help us identify when children can use a joystick to control their movement on a mobile robot.  We hope to see each child for five 20-minute sessions in the Movement Analysis Lab at Ithaca College.  We will provide a $30 gift (or eGift card for each child who participates in the study, as well as an age-appropriate book.

Please share this message with parents you may know, and contact me if you would like more information!
