Graduate program alumnae and faculty members, Justine Vosloo, Associate Professor & Sebastian Harenberg, Assistant Professor from the Department of Exercise Science and Athletic Training presented research at the 2019 Association for Applied Sport Psychology Conference in Portland, Oregon.
Professors Harenberg and Vosloo, presented their work with colleague Miranda Kaye (Penn State University) and alumna Shelby Anderson ‘18 (PhD student in Sport Psychology at University of North Carolina, Greensboro) – “Perceptions of Leadership Behaviors in Coaches: Validity of the Leadership Scale for Sports Using Exploratory Structural Equation Modeling” Justin Worley ’19, who is currently a first year doctoral student at Michigan State University studying Sport Psychology, presented his research on “Competing for Playing Time: The Relationship Between Positional competition and Social Identity in Collegiate Athletes” with Professors Harenberg & Vosloo
