Dr. Jorge Grossmann, Associate Professor of Music, presents lectures on his music at Boston University and New England ConservatoryContributed by Kitty Whalen on 11/22/19 Dr. Jorge Grossmann delivered presentations on his work on November 18-19 in Boston, Mass. His presentation at New England Conservatory focused on his recent work Ludi Mutatio, a series of nine pieces for piano and electronics. At Boston University, Dr. Grossmann presented an analysis of his most recent string quartet, Da Lontano, and of his orchestral work Gravitações. Dr. Grossmann is very active as a clinician appearing as guest speaker at several national institutions annually. During the previous two academic years, he has been invited to deliver presentations at the University of Chicago, Indiana University Bloomington, Brandeis University, and Cornell University.
