On Thursday, November 14, 2019, Professor Zenon Wasyliw gave an invited talk at SUNY Cortland. He spoke on "The Many Ukraines of 1917-1922." He discussed the contest for Ukrainian lands on the eastern front in the aftermath of World War I. The battles among the Ukrainian nationalists, the Poles, and the emerging Soviets over this territory has significant implications for today's geopolitics. His talk was sponsored by the Project on Central and Eastern Europe (PECE). |
