Jen Tennant, associate professor of Economics, recently published an essay, "True Places," in Hoxie Gorge Review.

Using Tales of the City as a framing and the AIDS crisis in San Francisco as a subject, she thinks through how trauma resides in landscapes, contemplates maps and shadow maps, and proposes an expansion to the scope of epigenetics.
