Katharyn Howd Machan’s 36-page collection of poems, A Slow Bottle of Wine, won the 2019 Jessie Bryce Niles Chapbook Contest, with a $1,000 prize, and will be published in 2020. Her poems “Boiling Sap” and “Watercolor Artist” are appearing this month in Twyckenham Notes. Katharyn Howd Machan is a Professor in the Department of Writing.
