The Ithaca College/Longview Partnership Faculty & Staff Lecture Series is looking for volunteers for one-time events in 2020.Contributed by Zackary Griswold on 01/30/20 Ithaca College has had a very successful partnership with Longview, a retirement community located on Danby Road, for two decades. Part of this relationship involves an ongoing monthly Faculty & Staff Lecture Series at Longview. We are looking for interested staff and/or faculty for 2020. Presentations are held in the Longview auditorium, typically at 7PM for an evening program. They are informal and can be on a wide range of topics, including academics, the arts, current events…If you find it interesting, likely others will too! Past topics and presentations have included: LGBTQ History; Climate Change from a Physics perspective, Wonderful Wheelchairs Program Information, and chasing away the Winter Blues: A recreation therapist’s suggestions! Available Dates: February 5 or 19; May 6 or 27; July 1, 22 or 29th and August 5 or 26 This is a great opportunity to share your passion and expertise on a topic with a very appreciative audience!
