Srijana Bajracharya, from the Department of Health Promotion and Physical Education, presented a paper entitled Integration of Environmental Sustainability Research as a Part Of Service Learning Projects Into Public Health Courses, at the 16th Annual International Conference on Environmental, Cultural, Economic and Social Sustainability at Santiago, Chile in January 29th, 2020

The presentation summarized the integration and intricacies of a semester long process of S-L project management into the course. In addition, successes and failures of the projects and summary of student reflections were presented.  Based on decades of experiences, a set of recommendations was provided to the audience that they could use or replicate, if they desire, and integrate such experiential learning methods in teaching sustainability related topics into their classes.
