Bill Weeks Retirement

Contributed by David Weil on 02/13/20

After 32 years of service, Bill Weeks, Associate Director for Network and Unified Communications is retiring - please join us in Clark Lounge on February 24th between 3 and 5 PM to thank him and wish him all the best.

Bill has been a dedicated employee for more than 32 years of service. He started at Ithaca College in 1987 as a Data Communications Specialist and has been instrumental in designing and building out the data and voice networks that form the backbone of our infrastructure that we all use every day.

Not only was Bill a great employee at Ithaca College; but he is also an alumnus. In 2006, Bill and his son graduated from Ithaca College on the same day. Subsequently, Bill worked his way up to lead the Network and Unified Communications team as their associate director. In his role, Bill supported the day to day activities as well as contributed to the strategy of the network and phone systems.  Bill’s contributions have been foundational to our success and continuity.

There will be a reception on February 24th from 3pm-5pm in Clark Lounge to celebrate his time at the college. Please join us to wish Bill a joyful, well-earned retirement.
