Ithaca College

I am very pleased to announce that Omar Stoute (Class of 2018) will serve as the next Title IX Deputy Coordinator in the Title IX Office, effective Monday, February 17, 2020.  Omar began working for the College in the Office of the Provost and went on to serve as Project Coordinator for the Honors Program and Civic Engagement Center. 

Omar remains active in the college and local community as a board member of the Ithaca Family and Children Services in Ithaca, a founding member of the First Generation Student Organization here on campus, and currently as a peer mentor for 12 students on campus.  He is also a committed member of his fraternity, Alpha Phi Alpha, doing community service at the local high school and greater Ithaca. 

Omar will lead the college’s sexual and dating violence prevention efforts and conduct investigations for the Title IX Office. 

I am grateful for the excellent work he has done in the Office of the Provost and look forward to our continued work with Title IX staff for the important work they do for the community.
