Attend an SLI to learn how to become an active bystander. Bringing in the Bystander (BITB) teaches students how to prevent sexual violence.Contributed by Samantha Elebiary on 03/10/20 Help to prevent violence on campus by learning to intervene in problematic situations. Get SLI credit for these workshops. RSVP on Engage! The bystander model gives all community members a specific role where they can identify and utilize skills they’ve learned to prevent sexual violence in their communities. Specifically, this workshop will teach bystanders how to safely intervene in situations where an incident may be occurring or where there may be risk.
