23rd Annual Finger Lakes Environmental Film Festival CANCELLEDContributed by Patricia Zimmermann on 03/11/20 The 23rd Annual Finger Lakes Environmental Film Festival (FLEFF) slated for March 23-29 is CANCELLED. All FLEFF events on the Ithaca College campus as well as at Cinemapolis for FLEFF 2020 are CANCELLED. Ithaca College senior leadership has made the decision to cancel all large events in an effort to support public health in this time of coronavirus crisis. We thank all of our FLEFF programming and curatorial team, faculty collaborators and presenters, administrators, support staff, distributors, Ithaca community partners, international archives, out-of-town guest artists from so many disciplines, bloggers, mini-course professors, festival fellows, Cinemapolis, and our students for all of their dedication and commitment to FLEFF over the past year. Special and deepest thank to Dr. Tanya Saunders, executive producer of FLEFF and Assistant Provost, and Martha Van de Wall, FLEFF's financial manager, for all of their work and support over the past year of programming, designing, and mounting the festival. Look for our online exhibition of new media art, RADICAL INFILTRATIONS. Curated by Dale Hudson at New York University Abu Dhabi and Clauda Costa Pederson at Wichita State University, RADICAL INFILTRATIONS is slated to launch in a few days so you can still get your yearly infusion of FLEFF remotely!
