The Department of Recreation and Leisure Studies is currently accepting applications for the Spring 2021 Immersion Semester Program (ISP). The ISP is a domestic study away, wilderness-based, leadership development semester. The ISP includes six courses and 18-credits of academic course work conducted while backpacking, rock climbing, and whitewater in California and Oregon. The ISP is required for all Outdoor Adventure Leadership majors and fulfills the requirements for a standalone, one semester Outdoor Pursuits minor. The ISP is open to all majors and minors with no prior experience necessary. Interested students are encouraged to:
