There have been many questions around student employment, and we wanted to provide an update as the academic year comes to a close.  For this summer, students can be hired and/or remain in their positions if the work can be performed remotely.  Newly hired students, who have not previously worked at the college, will still need to go through the new hire process via an NSEP session which will be presented remotely until further notice. These sessions will become available for registration beginning Monday, May 18th.

Student hiring for the fall semester can proceed, however, as there are still many unknowns and as the work of many student positions can only be performed on-campus, any offers should be made provisional based on the College’s operating status at that time.  We will provide additional updates as we learn more about what the fall semester will look like.
