Building Your Anxiety Toolbox (Virtually!) for JuneContributed by Brittany McCown on 05/26/20 In this unusual season for our country, many people are feeling more anxious and finding that their usual coping strategies are not working as well. CAPS is pleased to announce that we will be continuing to offer Anxiety Toolbox Groups (led by CAPS Counselor Ron) through Zoom each Thursday in June at 1 PM, starting Thursday, June 4th. The groups will be a place for students to check in with each other, to share resources, and to practice a few useful techniques for coping with anxiety. If interested in attending, please email rdow@ithaca.edu before 9 AM EDT on Thursday, and we will send you the Zoom link for the group. This is a drop-in group, so students can attend as few or as many sessions as they would like. |
