It's Not Too Late to Help Ithaca, NY by Completing Your 2020 Census!Contributed by Doreen Hettich-Atkins on 05/28/20 Off-campus students, faculty and staff should be sure to complete the 2020 Census at my2020census.gov. Off-campus students should be using the address where they would have been living in town on April 1 (despite COVID)! The Chronicle of Higher Education posted this article recently about how college towns, and in particular, our beloved Ithaca NY can be impacted if people don't get counted. The Census impacts so much for our town including:
Without ALL of our students, faculty and staff members and their families being counted, Ithaca will miss out and be shortchanged in many ways over the next 10 years. The Census will take you less than 5 minutes - Isn't Ithaca NY worth 5 minutes of your time? |
