Join IC Staff Council’s Employee Engagement Committee in JUNE 2020 for a month of fun activities. Get to know colleagues across campus and share what you’re doing. Each week, there will be a different focus and/or group of activities. Let’s start with Getting Outside!

Week 1 of 4: Get outside:
Share what you’re doing outside or some of your favorite outside activities by posting on the IC Spirit Month! Facebook page during the month of June. Not on Facebook, but would like to contribute an image or comment—send it along to sshank@ithaca.edu and we can post on your behalf or include it in a highlight.

Suggested outside activities:
Hiking:
We’ll give suggestions of easy, moderate, and challenging hikes each week. Need ideas for local hikes? Try: https://ithacatrails.org/
Hide & Seek with Painted rocks:
Look for some painted rocks on some of the trails we post and hide rocks of your own. Share a Facebook selfie when you find a rock!
Outdoor Scavenger hunt:
Check out our Facebook page for a list of seasonal things to hunt for while outdoors.
Biking:
What’s your favorite route? Do you road bike or mountain bike?
Gardening:
What are you putting in your garden this year? Do you have raised beds, container gardens, or a regular garden?
Picnics, Campfires, Outdoor Games & More!:
What’s your favorite spot to picnic—and your favorite picnic food?
What’s your favorite activity around a campfire?
What kind of outdoor games do you play?

More to come--Stay tuned to intercom for more info about following weeks!
