Join IC Staff Council’s Employee Engagement Committee in JUNE 2020 for a month of fun activities. Get to know colleagues across campus and share what you’re doing. Each week, there will be a different focus and/or group of activities. Week 2 is all about showing your IC spirit! Share how you’re showing your IC Spirit each day by posting on the IC Spirit Month! Facebook group during the week of June 8-12. Not on Facebook, but would like to contribute an image or comment—send it along to sshank@ithaca.edu and we can post on your behalf or include it in a highlight. We have also created a padlet site where IC staff can contribute images and posts for each day's theme in a visually-appealing format. Check it out here! We have a theme/activity for each day. Consider participating by sharing a photo or post related to each day’s theme: Monday, June 8th: Wear IC Gear - Post on Facebook or email sshank@ithaca.edu a picture of you/your family/your dog decked out in blue and gold and show it off on all your Zoom calls! Tuesday, June 9th: Share a Recipe or Favorite Curbside Pickup – Post a recipe or restaurant recommendation on Facebook or email sshank@ithaca.edu. Wednesday, June 10th: Community Giveback - Consider supporting the Ithaca Public Education Initiative (IPEI) by helping to fund a grant that is student/education focused, supports remote/at-home learning, and is art-related! We invite all members of the IC community to donate between now and June 15th, 2020 at: weblink.donorperfect.com/IPEIIC2020. See "Grants/Situational Grants" on form. Any amount ($5 or whatever you are able to give) is truly appreciated. A goal of $500 funds an entire Situational Grant, several of which have been tied to art supplies. Thursday, June 11th: Share Your Dream Vacation Spot - Post a photo of your dream vacation destination on Facebook or email sshank@ithaca.edu. Friday, June 12th: Appreciation Day - Write an email to an IC staff member (or more than one) to thank them for all they do for Ithaca College! More to come--Stay tuned to intercom for more info about following weeks! Week 3: Virtual Art Show Week 4: Connect Virtually Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Sarah Shank at sshank@ithaca.edu or (607) 274-3891. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible. |
