As communities across the nation—and even around the world—confront the issues of systemic racism and violence against Black lives by those in positions of power and authority, Ithaca College will continue to provide opportunities for students, faculty, and staff to come together to learn, reflect, and activate for justice.

One such opportunity was held for students on June 4, and we were tremendously pleased by the turnout and ensuing difficult though enlightening conversation. 

We now invite our faculty and staff to join us for a virtual session on Wednesday, June 17, at 3 p.m. for a discussion regarding the way that systemic racism is impacting all of us, both personally, and in our professional lives.  Our work in this institution cannot be separated from our lived experiences.  We wish to create a space for reflection and action.

Please note that this meeting is limited to 500 people.  An additional session will be held next Wednesday, June 24, if there is demand.
