Park School Assistant Professor Mitch McCabe’s film “Civil War Surveillance Poems (Part 1)” was selected for screening at True/False Film Festival in early March.

The first iteration of a five-part futuristic speculative nonfiction project contemplating impending civil war, the film was profiled in Columbia Daily Tribune, and McCabe's  conversation about politics of the future-present will be released in a podcast from True/False this fall.  While screenings at a number of national and international festivals have been canceled due to Covid-19, the film will be screening virtually Thursday, June 25 at Onion City Experimental Film Festival at 6pm EST (Q&A at 8pm), via Chicago Filmmakers. Additionally, her films were mentioned by Hyperallergic in March.
