Two Exercise Science and Athletic Training Faculty Present at New York State Athletic Training Association ConferenceContributed by Jackie Wandell on 06/29/20 Chris Hummel, Clinical Professor, and Michael Matheny, Clinical Professor/Head Athletic Trainer gave a presentation entitled, Strategies for Updating Your Concussion Management Plan, to over 280 athletic trainers and other healthcare professionals. The presentation outlined how new evidence and guidelines should be incorporated into existing concussion management plans and how to navigate the ever-evolving world of sport-related concussion. The New York State Athletic Trainers Association (NYSATA) hosted this free virtual conference on June 24th.
