It is with great sadness that we share the news that Claudia Ayers, long-time employee at Ithaca College, passed away in her home with her family on July 2 after a courageous 2+ years living with cancer. She will be deeply missed by all those that knew her. Claudia joined the Ithaca College advancement team in 2005 and most recently occupied the assistant vice president role leading the Alumni and Family Engagement and Donor Relations teams as well as acting as a stabilizing, encouraging, and motivating mentor and friend to many in Alumni Hall. She never shied away from a challenge and embraced her work and her colleagues with good humor, fierce loyalty, and genuine care. Our thoughts are with Claudia's family as well as with her many friends and colleagues grieving her passing. |
