We Two Alone and The Riveters, two works of fiction by Jack Wang, associate professor in the Department of Writing, have been acquired by HarperVia, an imprint at HarperCollins "dedicated to publishing extraordinary international voices, offering readers the chance to encounter other lives and other points of view via the language of the imagination."

We Two Alone, a collection of stories about the Chinese diaspora over the past hundred years, will appear in the US, UK, and Australia/New Zealand in the summer of 2021. The Riveters, a novel about Chinese Canadians who serve during the Second World War in an effort to win the franchise, will appear at a later date.

The Canadian edition of We Two Alone will be released by House of Anansi Press on September 1, 2020.
