Ithaca College

The Center for Civic Engagement is thrilled to announce that Elizabeth Jesch has joined our team as an AmeriCorps/Campus Compact VISTA. Elizabeth is an Ithaca native and recent IC graduate (’20), with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health.

Elizabeth has extensive experience working in the local community, addressing the complexities of food security and nutrition, as well as interrelated issues. Elizabeth will continue the VISTA Food Security Project in its second year - working to connect IC on-campus efforts with broader community-based efforts around food security, nutrition, and anti-poverty. She will also work on deepening partnerships and building capacity with community partners.
