Now that IC has migrated to the new Finance and HR Cloud system, most people will no longer have a need to log into the old Parnassus system. 

For those who do, starting August 11th there will be a change to how Parnassus is accessed. As of that date, all access to Parnassus (from both on and off campus) will require first connecting to our Global Protect virtual private network (VPN) and authenticating with Duo, to help protect the sensitive data that continues to reside in Parnassus. Please be aware when accessing Parnassus as of 8/11 that it may seem as if the site is down until you successfully connect to the VPN. You will then be able to log into Parnassus normally.

Just to be clear, this only affects Parnassus (our old HR/Finance system). Access to the new Finance and HR Cloud system remains the same. Information about using the VPN for secure remote access is available in our Global Protect VPN setup guide. Everyone should already be familiar with Duo authentication that is required for several campus systems. Please contact the Service Desk with questions.
