 We're looking for new students to participate in one of our many awesome Jumpstart programs! 

 What is Jumpstart? Jumpstart is a collaboration between several departments on campus that offers new students a chance to explore the local community, learn about resources on campus, and meet new friends. We are offering 10 half-day Jumpstart programs that you can check out on our website (https://www.ithaca.edu/jumpstart-program)!  

When is it? Jumpstart will occur on the three Saturdays after first-year students move in before in-person classes begin: September 19, September 26 and October 3. You can select which dates you prefer on the application. If you don't have a preference, you can choose all three and if selected, you'll be placed where there is availability.

How much does it cost? Nothing, it's free! However there is a selection process through an application. 

What is the application process? First, read about each program and its distinct focus, then choose your favorite (we know, it's so hard to choose!). You'll indicate which programs you're interested in on the application, which opens on August 10 on closes on September 7. The application can be found here on the Jumpstart website. 

Can I attend more than one program? In an effort to offer this opportunity to as many first year students as possible, students will be only be able to participate in one program over the course of the three weekends.
