Sports Media Professor Ellen J. Staurowsky & Three Students Publish in IJSC Special Issue on Sport & the Coronavirus CrisisContributed by Ellen Staurowsky on 08/27/20 Sports Media Professor Dr. Ellen J. Staurowsky along with three students – Ben Koch (Sports Media ’20), Grace Dury (TV-R major, Sport Studies minor), and Cooper Hayes (Sports Media ’20) – published a peer-reviewed article entitled Exploring Narratives of Scarcity, Uncertainty, and Opportunity in Women’s Sports Coverage During the COVID-19 Pandemic in the International Journal of Sport Communication. This article was included in the IJSC Special Issue on Sport and the Coronavirus Crisis and started as a project in Sport Studies Special Topics: Title IX and Sport class in the spring of 2020. http://dx.doi.org/10.1123/ijsc.2020-0226
