Want to learn how to work out? Do you already have workout ideas and need some structure to your fitness routine? Have fitness goals that you’re not sure how to meet? Want to know how to put together a HIIT workout or where to start to run a 5k? Looking for an extra half-credit? Classes are listed through normal registration. The Department of Athletics is providing virtual instructional opportunities offered by the coaching staff during the fall semester. With the transition to remote instruction, we restructured our activity classes to multiple sections of: 1. Personal Fitness 2. Run, Walk, Jog These are half-credit classes. Essentially, we will provide remote instruction in fitness activities in two different platforms in these two classes. The classes are offered in both Block 1 and Block 2. Many students seek these opportunities to attain the credits they need along with the opportunity to learn a new skill. We had multiple offerings that were fully enrolled in volleyball, badminton, golf and tennis, among other classes that we cannot offer remotely. We are offering sections during all of these previously planned classes. |
