Please consider adding some recreation and leisure to your semester with the following PALS opportunities! The two classes are Personal Fitness and Run, Walk, Jog.
Personal Fitness (Phys Activity, Leis & Safety 09300) – This class will cover some basics from design to implementation of several different kinds of workouts and will provide the skills and activities needed to improve physical fitness and/or maintain a healthy lifestyle. You’ll learn how to progress your workouts to meet your own health and fitness goals.
Run, Walk, Jog (Phys Activity, Leis & Safety 04000) – This class provides students of all ability levels with an opportunity to understand and benefit from a lifetime activity. Techniques covered are warm-ups and flexibility, running guidelines, and jogging safety. Training methods, interval work and various types of terrain are covered. The course will utilize the map my run or map my walk app.
Both of these classes are designed to accommodate ANY fitness level. All are welcome!
