Your Legal Rights During Job Offers & Negotiations: Knowledge is Power!Contributed by Cheryl Rotyliano on 10/14/20 In this three-part series, Cheryl Rotyliano (Career Services) and Emily Rockett (IC Assistant Counsel) are partnering to help students advocate for themselves in the workplace. Knowledge is Power: Your Legal Rights During Job Offers & Negotiations Tuesday, October 20th 12-1 pm Students will be introduced to some of the terminology associated with job offers that impact workers’ rights during employment. We’ll also discuss requirements for employers to offer benefits like health insurance as well as provide gender equity under the Equal Pay Act.
