Students will be given an overview of state and federal protections pertaining to employees in the workforce. This will include things like paid leave programs for life circumstances, dress codes, wages, discrimination protections, the right to concerted activity, etc. Students will also be provided with resources to help them locate the appropriate governing bodies to report claims of mistreatment or discrimination if they experience it.

Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Cheryl Rotyliano at crotyliano@ithaca.edu or (607) 274-3310. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
