Fitness Center Update

Contributed by Sean Reilley on 09/15/20

With Ithaca College’s transition to remote instruction this fall, the Fitness Center will remain closed until further notice.  We will share the new health and safety protocols for using the fitness center when we announce our reopening date, but until then please consider the following:

PALS Classes – There are still seats available in multiple sections of Personal Fitness (09300) and Run, Walk, Jog (04000).  Classes are led by intercollegiate athletics coaches and meet twice per week for one block.  Registration is available on Homer.

Group Fitness Classes – Our block 1 schedule can be found on the Recreational Sports website and will begin on Monday 9/14.  Classes are open to the entire campus community, and registration is available on our member portal (Netpass login required).

Les Mills On-demand Workouts – Our programming partner Les Mills has made their library of at home workouts available to our campus community at no additional charge.  Check out the workout options here.

Home Workout Programs – The personal training staff will once again be offering home workout programming this semester.  Sign-ups will be available the week of 9/14, and workouts will begin the week of 9/21.  Stay tuned for more details.

Staying Well at Home Instagram Series – Follow us @iccampusrec for updates and creative ideas on how we can all find success and stay well during our time away from campus.

If you have any questions or suggestions for programs and initiatives, please contact us at fitnesscenter@ithaca.edu.

Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Sean Reilley at sreilley@ithaca.edu or (607) 274-3294. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
