WICB / VIC Radio Fall 2020 Recruitment Night | Monday, September 14th at 7:00 PMContributed by Jeremy Menard on 09/10/20 Interested in radio? How about music? News? Sports? Podcasting? Check out WICB and VIC Radio's Fall 2020 VIRTUAL Recruitment Night to learn more about joining Ithaca's nationally recognized, award-winning student-run radio stations! This semester's event will include a brief presentation over YouTube, featuring introductions by the WICB and VIC Radio Executive Staffs, as well as details on how to get involved this fall. Following the video, attendees will be able to speak with current staff members over Zoom and sign up! Check out WICB's YouTube Channel (92 WICB) for the premiere Monday at 7:00 PM. Ithaca's two award-winning radio stations, WICB and VIC Radio, are looking for new students to join their staffs, with spots available in all departments! Get involved in on-air DJ'ing, sports, news, production, promotions, public relations, and many other areas of radio. "Attend" Monday's Recruitment Night to learn more about how you can get involved and create content for the stations while studying remotely. WICB has been recognized by The New York State Broadcasters Association, Syracuse Press Club, College Media Association and College Broadcasters, Inc., in addition to being voted Ithaca's Best Noncommercial Radio Station by readers of the Ithaca Times. Both stations also feature full news and sports departments, airing daily news and sportscasts, long-form news reporting and play-by-play coverage of Ithaca College sporting events. WICB and VIC Radio have been selected as top radio stations by the Princeton Review. Additional information is also available on Ithaca's Events Calendar.
