Register Now for the Virtual Global Conference on SustainabilityContributed by Rebecca Evans on 09/17/20 Submitted on behalf of the Office of Energy Management & Sustainability The Office of Energy Management & Sustainability is excited to announce that Ithaca College is a host institution for 2020’s Global Conference on Sustainability in Higher Education (GCSHE). Host institution status allows anyone with an @ithaca.edu email address to register for the conference for free by using the discount code: ITHACA090120 at checkout. Register for the conference here. GCSHE is hosted by the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE), where IC has been a member for nearly 10 years. With a theme of “Mobilizing for a Just Transition,” this year’s conference will focus on centering justice within the transformation from an extractive economy to a regenerative one, and ensuring that it leaves no one behind. Over the course of three days, GCSHE will bring together sustainability leaders from around the world in a virtual format to share effective models, policies, research, collaborations and transformative actions that advance sustainability in higher education and surrounding communities. You’ll find on-demand lightning talks, live discussions, networking, and world-renowned keynote speakers – all from the comfort of your computer!
