Weekly Testing Reminder
If you are an employee approved to regularly access campus this fall, thank you for your continued participation in the required weekly COVID-19 testing. A friendly reminder that our next testing dates are Tuesday, September 22 from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm and Wednesday, September 23 from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm at the A&E Center.

NEW! Testing and Screening Coordinator
We are pleased to announce that Jess Shapiro (she/her/hers) has agreed to serve as the Testing and Screening Coordinator for campus. In this role, Jess will support the work of the Director, Public Health Emergency Preparedness and our pandemic response efforts. Important aspects of her role will include:

• Responding to questions from employees and students regarding testing or screening, and supporting related communication efforts.
• Serving as our main contact with Cayuga Health System to arrange testing dates and registration slots.
• Coordinating with our information technology team to manage the various sources of data.
• Working with appropriate units/departments on campus regarding employee and student compliance with testing and screening requirements.
• Updating the COVID-19 Tracking Dashboard and reporting required testing data to the New York Department of Health.

Jess will continue to serve as the Assistant Director of the Campus Center, where she works primarily on building operations, student staff supervision, and a range of student engagement programming. Jess joined Ithaca College in July 2016 as a Residence Director/Honors Academic Assistant. Prior to IC, Jess earned a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education & Psychology from Boston College and a Master’s degree in College Student Personnel from Bowling Green State University.
