With the fall semester in full swing, students, staff, and faculty are invited to the All College Gathering on Tuesday, September 22, from 12:10 to 1:05 pm ET.

President Shirley M. Collado and members of the senior leadership team will welcome the college community to the new academic year, in what are clearly unprecedented times for all.

During our time together on Tuesday:

  • President Collado will discuss Ithaca Forever, the college’s strategic plan—focusing specifically on areas that are foundational to our work this academic year.

  • Provost La Jerne Terry Cornish will showcase the vibrant academic engagement and innovative learning that’s taking place to make this semester a signature learning and teaching experience for students and faculty alike.

  • Bonnie Prunty, our Dean of Students, will highlight the deliberate work that’s under way to build and support enriching student engagement and community.

  • And, Christina Moylan, director, Public Health Emergency Preparedness, will provide a robust overview of the many ways the college is managing and protecting public health during the pandemic.

Time will be reserved at the end of our gathering to answer your questions.

An Outlook calendar invitation with Zoom connection information was sent to faculty, staff, and students on Thursday, September 17, from president@ithaca.edu. Students, on Monday you will also receive a follow up email from studentaffairs@ithaca.edu with the Zoom link information.

Email Jaimie Voorhees in the Office of the President, if you need more information about the gathering.
