Want to study abroad in 2021-22 or beyond? Need help finding the right program? Come to an info session and get the information you need to make it happen! It's definitely not too soon to start planning for your future international adventure now. IC will be holding two info sessions this week, and several of our study abroad partners will also be offering info sessions about their programs.
Please be aware that the sessions run by our study abroad partners are not just for Ithaca College students, but for students from around the country. Specific questions about how study abroad works at IC should be directed to the Office of International Programs and Extended Studies.
NOTE: some sessions require you to pre-register or RSVP, and others will allow you to simply join at the designated time and date.
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 29
- 12:10 pm - IC Study Abroad Basics: Know Your Options - Join here (No need to pre-register. Meeting ID 963 2691 0340; Passcode 052647). This session is for students who are at the beginning stages of study abroad planning. We'll discuss how to best plan for study abroad, explain key terminology and types of programs available, talk about what to consider when choosing a program, and how to plan for the financial side of your study abroad experience.
WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 30
- 3:00 pm - Spanish Studies Abroad: Córdoba, Argentina - Register here. The city of Córdoba is a bustling educational and commercial center at the foothills of the Sierra Chica mountain range in northern Argentina, and is a perfect location for those looking to improve already-strong Spanish language skills.
- 3:00 pm - IES Abroad: Psychology - RSVP here. Learn about IES Abroad's Psychology program options that will take you around the globe, from Amsterdam to Vienna, with engaging courses covering Cross-Cultural Psychology to The Psychology of Prejudice & Discrimination and everything in between.
- 9:00 pm - The Education Abroad Network (TEAN): Summer 2021 Study and Intern Abroad Programs - Register here. Start thinking ahead to Summer 2021 as TEAN shares an overview of more than 30 TEAN summer programs – including traveling programs and professional internships – across Asia Pacific.
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 1

- 3:00 pm - IES Abroad: Barcelona, Spain - RSVP here. The IES Abroad Barcelona program allows students to customize their academic experience by focusing on Arts, Business, Communications, Culture, International Relations, Journalism, Politics, or Spanish Language.
