Please join the Department of Writing for a reading by Priya Tait and Alaysia Duncan. This reading is part of a series of events that feature the work of our students. When: Sunday, October 11, 2020 Priya Tait (SP21) is a writing major with minors in screenwriting and outdoor pursuits. Stories have filled her head ever since she was a child, and she’s found that the one reliable cure for her overactive imagination is to bring her thoughts to the page. Most of her works are within the realm of science fiction and fantasy, but recently she’s been quite taken with creative nonfiction. She’s been published in The Allegheny Review for a queer retelling of the myth of Helen of Troy and is currently working on a memoir about a month-long walk across the deserts of Southern California. Alaysia Duncan (SP23) is a second year Acting major and Writing minor at Ithaca College. She is originally from Saint Paul, Minnesota. All of her work is dedicated to her friends and family.
