Our next testing dates are Tuesday, October 13 from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm and Wednesday, October 14 from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm at the A&E Center. Please note there is a 1-hour break for lunch from approximately noon to 1:00 pm. Click HERE to register for an appointment and do so as soon as possible. Please plan to arrive about 15 minutes prior to your appointment, and no earlier. Also, please do not arrive late. Please have your appointment confirmation either printed or available on your phone. Flu Vaccines For employees approved to regularly access campus this fall and students living in the Ithaca area, flu vaccines will be available during these testing dates while supplies last. If you choose to participate, the flu vaccine will be administered after the COVID-19 test, in another area of the A&E Center. Individuals who plan to participate should follow two important steps:
We are strongly encouraging everyone to receive a flu shot this year. Employees not approved to access campus, but participating in Aetna, can receive flu shots at participating providers with no member cost share. Students who on are campus or in the area but cannot attend on these dates can make an appointment with the Hammond Health Center for a flu vaccine by calling 607-274-3177. Individuals outside of the Ithaca area can utilize the Tompkins County Health Department online resources for locating flu clinics by zip code. CLICK HERE for more details on these resources. Health Alert Tompkins County Health Department released a Health Alert yesterday in response to the increase in COVID-19 cases in nearby Southern Tier counties. The Southern Tier region includes Broome, Chenango, Chemung, Delaware, Schuyler, Steuben, Tioga, and Tompkins Counties. The Tompkins County Health Department is reminding the community to stay vigilant about behaviors including wearing a face covering, maintaining six feet of physical distance, and practicing good hand hygiene.
