Flu Vaccines

For employees approved to regularly access campus this fall and students living in the Ithaca area, flu vaccines will be available during these testing dates while supplies last. If you choose to participate, the flu vaccine will be administered after the COVID-19 test, in another area of the A&E Center.

Individuals who plan to participate should follow two important steps:

  • print and complete the INFLUENZA VACCINATION FORM prior to arriving on campus. This form must be completed and brought to the testing site, and
  • dress appropriately to receive a shot in the upper arm (i.e. short sleeves, sleeves that can be easily rolled up, or layers).

We are strongly encouraging everyone to receive a flu shot this year. Employees not approved to access campus, but participating in Aetna, can receive flu shots at participating providers with no member cost share. CLICK HERE for more details on participating vaccine providers. Students who on are campus or in the area but cannot attend on these dates can make an appointment with the Hammond Health Center for a flu vaccine by calling 607-274-3177. Individuals outside of the Ithaca area can utilize the Tompkins County Health Department online resources for locating flu clinics by zip code. CLICK HERE for more details on these resources.
